Special Occasion Supplies - Terms and Conditions


Welcome to Special Occasion Supplies! By engaging with our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:


1. Booking and Payment:

   - To secure your order, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

   - Full payment is due before the event date.

   - Payments can be made through our secure online platform.


2. Cancellation Policy:

   - Cancellations made less than [7 days] before the event date will incur a fee.

   - Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to bookings@specialoccasionsupplies.co.uk

   - Refunds are not provided for cancellations made within 6 days of the event date.


3. Security Deposit:

   - A security deposit will be required for all items and will be refunded upon the safe return of the hired items.

   - Any damages or missing items will be deducted from the security deposit and customers will be liable to pay for a replacement item if the security deposit does not cover the full cost of a replacement..


4. Delivery and Collection:

   - Delivery and collection fees apply and will be discussed during the booking process.

   - It is the customer's responsibility to ensure a representative is present for delivery and collection at the agreed-upon times.


5. Care of Hired Items:

   - Hired items must be used responsibly and returned in the same condition as received.

   - Any damages or excessive cleaning required will result in additional charges.


6. Changes to Booking:

   - Any changes to the booking must be communicated in writing and may be subject to additional charges.


7. Liability:

   - Special Occasion Supplies is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss incurred during the use of our hired items.

   - The customer assumes full responsibility for the items during the hire period.


8. Force Majeure:

   - Special Occasion Supplies is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our control.


9. Privacy Policy:

   - Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


10. Governing Law:

    - These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Return and Refund Policy

Special Occasion Supplies - Refund Policy


At Special Occasion Supplies, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with our services. Please review our refund policy outlined below:


1. Booking Deposits:

   - All booking deposits are non-refundable.

   - Deposits secure the availability of our items for your specified date and are necessary to initiate the booking process.


2. Cancellations:

   - Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event date may be eligible for a partial refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

   - Cancellations made within 6 days of the event date are not eligible for a refund.


3. Change of Date:

   - We understand that circumstances may change. If you need to reschedule your event, we will do our best to accommodate the change, subject to availability.

   - Changes to the event date must be communicated in writing at least 7 days before the original date.


4. Damaged or Missing Items:

   - The customer is responsible for inspecting all items upon delivery.

   - Any damages or missing items must be reported immediately.

   - Refunds for damaged or missing items will be determined on a case-by-case basis.


5. Security Deposit:

   - Security deposits are refundable upon the safe and complete return of all hired items.

   - Any deductions from the security deposit, such as for damages or missing items, will be communicated to the customer.


6. Refund Processing:

   - Refund requests must be made in writing to bookings@specialoccasionsupplies.co.uk

   - Refunds, if eligible, will be processed within 3 business days.


7. Force Majeure:

   - In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, accidents, etc.), our refund policy may be adjusted.
